Hi, I'm new to SoulCysters. I'm 24 and have been married for almost 2 years. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since we got marred. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS yet. I'm pretty sure I have it. I have not had a period since last summer when I stopped taking my birth control pills.
The last time I was at my gyno, I had some blood work done as well as an ultrasound. The blood work came back ok.. she didn't mention anything about it being abnormal.. during the ultrasound she said my uterine lining was too thick and was causing me to not have periods regularly.. and put me on birth control to regulate my period.
When I went back a few months after that.. I told her my husband and I were trying to conceive and she said I needed to see a fertility specialist and didn't mention anything else.. I told her I was going to go off the birth control.. and she said it was up to me. I didn't think she really knew what she was dealing with because alot of my questions didn't get answered.
My poor husband.. thinks the problem is with him and not me.. I feel so bad. I've tried explaining to him... that its me and not him but he doesn't seem to understand.
I'm currently taking FertilAid and I'm going to schedule an appointment w/ a different gyno soon, to see if I can find out what is really wrong with me.. and if I have PCOS.

Hey star,
Welcome. When you go tp the dr. Make sure you mention PCOS otherwie you get the run around. I only found out because I have endo and when they did a laparoscopy to remove it, they saw my jacked up ovaries. Anyway, don't rule out DH either. If you guys do see a fertility specialist and they do things right, he should have to do a semen analysis. We always think it is us, but sometimes it IS them. But hopefully you guys will get pregnant soon.
