I just wanted to take a moment to say hello! I was just "diagnosed" last night by a doctor who I saw only because my health plan was running a pap-smear clinic. While I'm still waiting for final confirmation from lab results, I have all of the classic symptoms (although they are not as severe as what some have). When I got home, I looked PCOS up on WebMD, out of the 7 signs they listed, I have 5. . . infertility problems were also listed but I'm not trying to have a baby, so I don't know about that one. The thing that really upsets me, is that I have been complaining about these symptoms for YEARS and the doctors that I have seen have pretty much ignored me.

Anyway, I guess I should say a little about myself. . . I'm 25 and live in beautiful So Cal, about an hour outside of San Diego. In about 6 weeks, I'm marrying the man of my dreams. We have beagle, Benji, who think's he's either a cat or a baby - it really depends on his mood. I'm also going to school to be an accountant and will be finishing this upcoming semester!

Welcome! Im new here as well. And was just diagnosed yesterday as well and Im also 25! So much in common!! lol

Welcome! I am relatively new here as well and I am 26. I was diagnosed when I was 23 but I still had to go through the same things as you....I had been complaining for years but the doctors never took me seriously. I ended up having to look it up myself and bring the information in to them because they had no idea what PCOS was!
