Hi Everyone...Here is my story. The nightmare begins Aug 2008 came of the pill as kind of TTC, months went by no AF even though i was always like clock work before BCP. July 09 went to gyne said it looked as if AF was on its way so give it another 2 months, i was told that i did have small cysts on ovaries but nothing to worry about as my hormones did not suggest PCOS. Sept 09 still no AF, hormones still normal i am 5ft and weight 7 stone 6lb but gyne diagnosed me with pcos - DEVASTATED!!! I dont have acne or excess hair, blood sugar fine and thyroid fine so i am quite lucky! But as i am def TTC with no period, i dont know what to do? I have been taking agnus castus, vit b complex and folic acid from i found out and still nothing. Does anybody have any other suggestions or things i could try? I am just waiting on my partners results coming back so i can get clomid but i cant stand the waiting! It is getting me really down and the more i think about it the downer i get!! PLEASE HELP - ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Im so sorry for your frustrations! it can be a real pain in the you-know-what!! i will say that if your weight is healthy, do everything you can to keep it that way and you will most likely have much success in keeping pcos symptoms at bay and success with fertility drugs. the higher your weight goes, the more symptoms you contract. and with PCOS it is VERY easy to gain weight. most likely you will do just fine with clomid. they prob wont give you metformin considering your hormone and sugar levels are still healthy. as far as the waiting, weather you have waited a month or 5 years, it can be very emotional and stressfull knowing that you have no control over your decision to concieve. it kills me when my friends decide they are ready to have a baby and within 2 months they concieve. your advantage is that you have built up a greater appreciation for what it takes to build a family and you DEFINATELY have an advantage over alot of other pcos'ers who are overweight and riddled with horribly defeminizing symptoms like hair loss or chest hair or acne or whatever. try and always look at the positive or you will for sure go crazy. good luck and baby dust to you.
