Hi My name is Joanna. I am 31. I live in New Zealand. I found that i had pcos about 10 years ago and i also have precocious puberty. I am getting a mirena in about 3 weeks to try and stop my af because i have it must of the time. I have no kids and that is some thing that i have come to terms with. I can try and have kids if I do IVF but i dont think that I worry about havung kids now.

Welcome to the forum. I am new here as well. I only found out last month that I have PCOS and I am still in shock. I am so glad there are places like these where we can talk about this. I am from South Africa and this is one of the subjects South Africans rarely talk about.

Hi mariedj,
I am new to the forum and was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. If has been very difficult for me to accept that their still might be a chance that i will not conceive. The only thing we can do is be positive and strong. Trust my you will get through it just like everyone will.
