Hi Girls.. Can I join you?? I have recently been diag with PCO but hee is my story..
I am 28, dh is 31. We have been together 15 years, married a little over 2. We have had 2 pg's in the past, with no help, but no children. After my second, I decided to have depo, which I had for 15 months until Dec 2000, when I had my last shot. I waited and waited for 12 months for af, but then had provera in Jan this year, which did start me off, and I have had regular cycles ever since. I also started clomid in Jan, and had 3 rounds (50, 100 and 100), never o'd. In March, I had intense pain and went for u/s and there they saw 2 cysts, one on each ovary. I had to have a break from clomid until they had gone, which took 4 months.
Last cycle I started again, on 100mg, and was supposed to have the hcg shot, but when I went for follie check, guess what? Yup, another cyst. So, no shot. I saw a new doc in that cycle and he said I had raised testosterone levels, and then started me on metformin, which I have been on for 2 weeks now. I am cd2 today, and went for another u/s this morning. The cyst is still there on my right ovary, but my left is clear. I am scheduled for surgery on 9/9 to remove it, and hopefully then I can get right down to o'ing properly!!
