I was refered here by someone I met in Fertility Friend Chat. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS by my doctor, but after TTC for 17 months now, and really looking at it. I have a lot of the symptoms, and think that I may have it. I will see my doctor briefly next week and ask him about it. I thought in the mean time I would come over here and get some info, and support. I look forward to meeting you ladies. I really would love another baby, and it's getting very hard, and now thinking I probably have PCOS I'm even more discouraged!

A little more about me...I'm Brandi, 26, from Illinois. Married to Robert, 29, since 10/26/02. We have twin daugthers, Shelbie and Shianne born 12/27/01 conceived on one cycle of clomid in April 2001 after losing my right tube and Angel in August 2000 to an ectopic pregnancy. We started to TTC in July '03, and after 6 months I went to my doctor since we were not pregnant yet, he put me on 50mg of clomid-failed, then five months of 100mg clomid, the last accompanied by prometrium-all failed. I just got AF today, but this last cycle(46 days) was my first cycle off clomid. Oh, I had an HSG done in October, and my left tube was open. Haven't had hubby tested yet. Especially now since I'm thinking it could be PCOS for me. Dr. prescribed clomid and prometrium for a seventh month, but I didn't take it. I decided to just go with the flow and take a break for a few months. Still trying, but not meds or anything. My hubby also drives truck, so BD timing is a little difficult at times, so that plays a role too I'm sure. Anyways....if you want to know more, just drop me a line.

Diagnosed with PCOS in 2003.

Medications include Lamictal 100 mg, Lexapro 20 mg, and Trazadone 150 mg for Bipolar Disorder. Starting Femcon Sept '08. Gotta get this big ugly PCOS monster back under control!
