Here's the thing about cycles: when you have a long cycle, the first part is the long part (leading up to O), the second part is always approx the same length (12-15 days or so). So even with long cycles, you should be able to test for pregnancy 14 or so days after ovulating and get an accurate test.
As for symptoms, some ppl get pg symptoms very early, some not at all. Pg symptoms tend to overlap a lot with PMS, so it's hard to say unless you test, so go get one!
