hello everyone~ i'm new here. i'm Jessica, or jessi...whichever.
i was officially diagnosed on december 5, 2006 ~ after a very long and frustrating 2 year battle with drs to finally find out what is wrong with me. i'm on 500mg of metformin x2 daily, and amazingly, i've already had my first period, although it was very different than the ones i am used to having. usually, they are like a medium flow for about 3-4 days(before 2 years ago) and the one i just had was very light(almost like spotting) after the 1st day and lasted 4-5 days. could that be because of pcos or the met? or should i be calling my dr? but to be very honest, my weight is very unhealthy right now~ i tried to diet for a couple months, and lost a grand total of 4lbs~ thank you insulin resistance! but my aunt is a nutritionist, and i'm going to sit down with her soon and she's gonna help me out with that. if you have any questions for me, just ask!
nice to meet you all.
~Jessi~
