Default Hi! I'm new here.. recently diagnosed with lean pcos..

And im still confused, lol... Let me explain my situation

I have lost nearly 100 lbs. I was 101% normal when i was heavy... never missed a period, right on time, cycles usually lasted 32-36 days.. then i lost weight, quit the sugar and white flour/refined carbs, became a regular exerciser and my cycles became irregular. my doctor at the time just attributed it with my losing weight and my body adjusting to my exercise regime.. i believed this as well, because i started menustrating normally again until this past november. November 26th, 2005 was the date of my last period. The doctor i am seeing now did several tests and determined i did in fact, have lean pcos.. She put me on promentrium over 3 weeks ago so i would start my period.. it was suppose to work after 2 weeks, but so far nothing.. but i did have a blonde moment and kept taking them for almost 3 weeks.. i misunderstood her, i thought she said to keep taking them until i started-- but i was suppose to quit taking them after day 14, then a couple days later i would start... im hoping the reason i havent started yet is because i have more of it in my system that i should have...

has anyone been on prometrium to start their period and it didnt work? what happened next? my doctor had me take a diabetes test-- blood sugar levels were fine, but my insulins were not.. she said that i am producing too much..

ive done lots of research online but i want more personal responses.. thanks in advance

Hello, I was on prometrium and I never received a period off of it. Doctor put me on provera and still nothing but an allergic reaction. The only thing that has worked is the Metformin. I guess maybe because it is controlling the excess insulin that I produce. As of right now I don't get an AF it's been two months. I am on Yasmin for the first time with three white pills remaining and still I have no period. I don't know maybe next month. This PCOS thing is tricky. I pray you have better success.
