I'm nearly 27, DH is also 27. We've had 3 miscarriages in our time together, one when I was on the pill before several life altering health issues for DH.
I've got PCOS, normal bloodwork, but with a poor bloodsugar/insulin ratio and very cystic ovaries. I've been on Met for a year at 1500mg or 1000mg. I'm on the 1000mg now because after my last miscarriage I became less tolerant to it.
DH has a very high count, but a very low morph.
Since our first miscarriage 4 years ago DH has had cancer, hernia surgery (which caused testical trama) and his thyriod removed. After TTCing for 18 months we've only been able to concieve with IUI, clomid and met combo. I've known about the PCOS for a little over a year.
I'm now seeing an RE, because I wasn't getting enough from my ob/gyn who thought she was an RE

.
We had a chromosome analysis done in October. I came back with a small inversion on my 7th chromosome pair. The genetic counsilor thinks its nothing to cause our miscarriages, that I'm either going to produce eggs that won't fertilize or implant, or perfectly normal eggs.
We've decided to persue IUI once again because of this, before we resort to saving for IVF.
The RE wants me on injectable PIO, because on progesterone suppliments (200mg 2X a day) I still had levels of barely 15. The problem is, that I have no experience with online pharmacies. I think I'd like to try fertilitymeds.com, since they seem to have the best price on PIO I've found and also have the novarel I'll need (no ovidrel from my RE, despite the fact I've done well with it with OB/GYN). Someone else has suggested that freedompharmacy.com is good as well, but I don't see PIO or novarel listed on their meds list.
I'm also considering Walmart, because I get a discount there as a part time employee (I'm also a subsititute teacher) and my insurance will not cover most of my meds.
I guess I'm asking where you guy get your meds and if anyone has advice for me.
Thans for helping a new person out.
