Hello ladies,
I have just been diagnosed last week, and still a little bit wobbly about the whole thing. However I'm so grateful I found this site, its good to have so much info. I have been speaking to a few of the 'cysters' and thought I would introduce myself. Would appreciate any advice or just a chat.
Totally off the subject - is anyone watching Australian Idol? My favourites are; Dan, Emily & Kate.

Welcome to SC and great to see you've found the Aussie cysters too!
Seems a fairly normal reaction to feel a bit "wobbly" since you only just had the diagnosis. Reading all the info when you are ready should help you to feel more informed. Try to look at some of the positive posts if it gets a bit much, theres lots of success stories at SC. Maybe the 'thin cysters' forum might have some good info for you too?

Eva!! Glad you found SC. I know how much it helped me when I was first diagnosed. The doc didnt give me alot of info at all, but once finding this site, I reckon I know more than the docs now...LOL!!
I hope you find lots of inspiration from here because there are so many wonderful ladies about!

I haven't been watching much idol.....little bits here and there. I think Emily has a fabulous voice...she would be my favourite. I also like Kate.

Yep, I've been watching idol - bit of a fanatic I must admit - but am REALLY having problems picking a favourite at this stage... Emily is definitely fantastic, so is Dan - I guess they are usually my favourites. I'd really like to see some touchdowns this week.

It can be really overwhelming cant it, you get told you have PCOS and the wealth of information comes pouring in!! Its insanity!!!
Arm yourself with info - thats the best advice I can give!It's pretty daunting but its good to finally have an answer...Good luck TTC!! We tried for 2.5 years for DD#2 and we were one of the lucky ones with Clomid, worked first go (still cant beleive it!)
And as for Idol - guys who's Emily?!?!? Which one is she??? I liked Natilie, bummer she got kicked off...
Emily is the mum who sang R.E.S.P.E.C.T. amongsth other things... Yeah, Natalie was good (esp for her age!). I have to say that as much as I wanted Laura to go, I felt quite sorry for her for all of the comments she received (when, afterall it was the judges who put her into the top 30 - if they didn't like her, why put her in and put her through all of that?).

Nah....you're not the only one Bec. I think they are getting by on image rather than great voices. While I LOVE the style of music they are both into I think there are others with much stronger voices. I LOVE Dan's dreads though.......very John Butler!!!!
