Default Hi new here but not to IR/PCOS

I was dx Jan 07 with IR/PCOS. I think I am luckier than most though because already have children. I ended up seeing an endo because I was busting my butt exercising 2 hours a day, 7 days a week for 6 months only missing 1 day of exercise and I was still gaining weight.

I am still struggling with my weight loss. I made my goal weight last year of losing 1 pound a month and I'm still losing about 1 pound a month. It's slow and frustrating but at least I'm losing weight and not gaining anymore. lol

I found this site looking for recipes and decided to join! You ladies are awesome! I don't really follow a particular diet I just eat whole grains and tons of fresh produce. I did read the IR diet book and found it interesting but it's confusing to me so I thought I might get some more info about it here and I see there is a ton of advice!

Oh, I'm 38, married 14 yrs, 3 kids and work f/t. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
