Hi, I'm new here. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17, after many signs started pointing that direction. I have always had regular periods, but had the hirtsuism, along with fluctuating weight, and of course, the confirmed cysts on my ovaries and the hormone imbalance. I was on birth control until July 2006, just before I got married in October of 2006. We decided to start trying to conceive in January of 2007. At this point it has been a year and a half of unsuccessful attempts. We started seeing a specialist in May of this year. I had an SHG a week after that appointment, which showed I still had a bunch of cysts, but my tubes and everything looked good. I was late this month, and thought for sure it was it, but I was wrong. My progesterone levels are very low and I'm not preg. So the dr has me taking Provera to jump start my period (never been on it before) and we'll be doing clomid and IUI my next cycle. Its nice to meet you all and hope I can make some friends.
