I know that when I am preggers, I get flare ups. When I am on hormones I get flare ups. I have tons of scars under my arms. One day when I am done having kids, I am going to have Plas.surgery to fix them. They say when you have that done it will almost make it go away.

I didn't see this thread and I just posted a new one asking if anyone had tips on these boils in my inner upper thigh! thanks so much for all I have read...I am going to start following some of you girls advice. Man if it isnt one thing its another...who in the hell wants to have PCOS and OH look boils on your inner thighs that hurt like hell! ugh...I tell ya. My doctor told me once it was due to my sugar levels and that lots of diabetics get them pretty bad.

I love this thread. I am going to try the tanning idea to cover scares but they are mostly on the inside of my thighs and under my breasts so will have to do some weird poses in the tanning machine.

Mine are luckily really mild, never any larger than a pea actually not even that big. To me however it makes me feel like I have caught an STD. That is definately an impossibility as the thought of undressing in front of anyone makes me feel sick!

Are you just going to go in a regular tanning bed? Like the usual bulbs on the top and bottom and you lay on your back? If you're in one like that, what I used to do is for my thighs I'd press the soles of my feet together and pull them in a little closer to by butt...that opened up the thigh area quite a bit. I don't have them around my boobs but I'm a freak about tan lines...so I'd alternate between putting my arms over my head (which helped lift my boobs a bit to get under them AND tanned my armpits so I didn't have any lines there either!)...or I'd actually flip over and lay on my stomach and position my boobs so that they got tan underneath.

If you're going in an Ultrabronze bed then the thigh trick will still work and the first boob suggestions will...but laying on your stomach won't do anything for your boobs because there are no lights on the bottom.

Can ya tell I'm a little OCD?!

Any other cysters out there aggravated about swimsuit season? It's nice that the skirted bottoms are back in style (to hide the scars) but I still hate shopping for a bathing suit. Oh, so I tried the tea tree oil on my last flare up and it went away without popping. Yay! Sometimes they do go away without any treatment, but I will continue to try the Tea Tree Oil.

Question about the Tea Tree Oil. Is it straight up tea tree oil...like from a health store or something? Or is it like...the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil?? It seems funny to use like...shampoo or something but I've never seen tea tree oil in its original form. Of course I wans't looking for it either.....

You can even find it in the grocery or drug store. It works pretty well for a variety of things. Believe it or not, it seems to help with oily skin.

That's IS what I thought at first! I thought "Oh my G*d I caught an STD! But where the hell did I get it?" I thought that maybe it was one of those long term to show up ones....then I was told I was dirty but my doctor, so I then "felt like a leper" or something...and then I found a great dermatologist.

You're not still seeing that dr are you?

I started getting mine at 15 I hadn't done anything sexually but I also didn't know what they were. I did start to realize with time that they were connected to my cycle and hormones

No not at all! I hated him...he also told my dad that fibromyalgia didn't exist, so that meant that my dad didn't have it...and he does. That doctor is about 2000 miles from where we are. I am SOOOOO sensitive to hormones that I can't even be on the Mirea IUD, IT puts out enough to mess me up. Which is why we are pregnant now....

Keesa oh that is an awful Dr. I'm glad you are far from him.

Some people do well on the IUD w/ hormones. The one that is in it gives me bad side effects so I can't take it either.
