Default Hidradentis Sufferers - Found a Good Deodorant

Hello

I have hidradentis and have just found a really good underarm deodorant. It's from GNC Health Shop, called Desert Essence natural roll on deodorant.

it's got tea tea and sage, and costs £4.25 for 2 fl oz. I've been using it about 2 weeks now, and my arms feel much better.

Just thought I'd pass this info on................

Talking Does Hidradentis ever go away?

I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago, I'm 33 today. For the past couple years I've been getting these terrible lumps under my arm, some so bad I can hardly lift my arm. My poor pits look like they've gone through a war zone. My GP couldn't figure out what they were or what they were related to. I guessed it from reading it on the net. The deoderant you describe ... does it help in reducing the lumps?
Thanks.

The tea tree oil is known to sooth Hidradenitis Suppurativa lesions, but I suppose it all depends on the severity of the HS and the amount of TTO(tee tree oil) there is in the deoderant. Some other things you may want to try are soaking a hot washcloth (as hot as you can stand it) in an epson salt/water/maybe TTO too, mix and doing alternating hot and cool soaks. No more than 10 minutes at a time. That will help bring things to the surface so they can drain. Some people use a sort of "Boil Ease" product with bandages for a day or 2 for the same purpose. All this info can be found in the Yahoo Group that is the largest source of HS information and exchange on the web. I placed the link in the CysterSites for all interested in checking it out.
