It's possible it could be medication. How is your diet? I eat moderately well but mine has spiked a little since I stopped eating oatmeal every morning for breakfast. (All those little ads about oatmeal and healthy cereals are true!)

I also have high blood pressure, I have reduce my salt intake. No chips, or processed foods, try to eat food that you cook at home. Garlic also helps in reducing BP.

I too recently have started keeping an eye on my sodium. I thought I wasn't getting hardly any, since I never use a salt shaker, however I was having 3000-4000mg a day or more. It has been very shocking for me, I had no idea.
I believe it to be the reason I'm on blood pressure meds.
I also have low cholesterol, but without the blood pressure meds my BP was always 140/90ish and has been since I was 16.

I'm hoping after a couple of months on low sodium (I'm aiming for under 2000mg a day or less) that I can stop the blood pressure pills.

I too have a problem with HBP. Certain medications can cause high blood pressure - I know taking over the counter cold medication can increase it. Also, stay away from foods that are processed - most of them have really high sodium. Exercise helps ower blood pressure, and I recently read that lemons and garlic were supposed to help lower it as well.

Its not unusual for people with PCOS to have high blood pressure. It's just another symptom of metabolic syndrome which is closely tied to PCOS.

I have read that weight and sometimes stress can also contribute to high blood pressure.
