If this is not you're normal blood pressure it may not be anything to worry about. Blood pressure does vary depending on stress levels, sodium consumed, etc. There are signs to chronic high blood pressure such as the head being achy in the back, and felling dizzy sometimes. You are however, right to be concerned. I have had high blood pressure for a while now and it is not anything to be cavalier about. I visit my doctor every two weeks to make sure my medication is working and it is steady. Please do not try any over the counter, or herbal concoctions without your doctors consent, you only have one heart. Good luck to you, and I hope you do well.
I recently started on bp meds for 140/90 reading this has been climbing steady on me.Just be sure to keep it checked I am a nurse and should have kept better track of mine. Good Luck.
