Default high cholesterol and diabetes

I am really freaking out right now. I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS. Then today I get a letter in the mail from gyno saying that my cholesterol is too high. It's 239 and the last time I had it tested it was 160!!

I am so worried and confused and I don't know what to eat. Could this elevated cholesterol be from PCOS? Could I have diabetes? Should I get tested for diabetes?

Smile

I know I got hit with the news about my high cholesterol this past exam too, and I am diabetic, so I would get tested for diabetes if I were you. Or at least IR. Just in case.

The key is to keep to a low fat, low carb diet--unfortunately I don't listen very well at my dr's advice, but that's what he wanted me to do
