My fertility specialist has checked by blood during cycle day 3 of 2 induced periods - and each time my estrodial was around 110-115. I can't start clomid or letrozole until the numbers are under 80... so looking online it says that high estrodial on day 3 may indicate low ovarian reserve. I asked my doctor and she said with pcos that's not always the case. Has anyone else run up against this? I'm afraid now that I have something else to worry about but not getting the facts... ???

They should have done an ultrasound to see if you had active cysts cause the estradiol increase.
More times than not, it is because you had some follicles from last cycle that never released and are functional cysts.
Generally you can either wait it out to see if they go away or do one month of BCP to shrink them so you can do clomid the next cycle.
