YES! This is probably why you're having problems. Ask for a prescription for Metformin. At first, the tummy side effects will be a pain in the butt, but it's worth it if you stick with it. Metformin will bring your insulin into control, which will help balance out the other hormones. It's helped a lot of cysters get pregnant. Once you're pregnant, stay on it at least through the first trimester - it helps prevent the miscarriages that are common with us.
Did your doc check other hormones? With PCOS, they're usually very screwy... There's a lot of info on this in the Newbie forum.
