My sister just recently had the Glucose testing done and her Glucose level was 143 and her insulin level was 168!!! They told her that was VERY high. I don't know a whole lot about insulin levels, I know the glucose is a little high but how bad is her insulin level? Does anybody have any experience with high insulin? She is going to my endo next week but she is very stubborn and refuses to stop eating sugar and drinking sodas, she swears that she is not diabetic and she is fine. Since she lives with my husband and I she doesn't get that stuff often b/c we are diabetic but still, she aggravates the heck out of me!! Any ideas on why her levels are so off? Thanks!!!
