I have found my over active libido an annoyance and major issue in relationships. I talk with my friends about sex and they are telling me they avoid it as much as possible and I can't seem to be satisfied. My husband is content with sex once or twice a month and I am a raging lunatic after a few days without. I always feel rejected and unwanted as a result. I would love to kill my libido and make it silent. You are soooo not alone with a high sex drive.
I just love my libido! But then DH also has a very high libido. He needs the sex. I need the sex. And whatever I may lack in terms of femininity, we certainly have the phsyical bits that mate together. The fact that my high testosterone levels make me orgasm readily and even ejaculate make things even better -- I know I can satisfy him and he knows he can satisfy me. I can't pretend I'm feminine, but it's most certainly as a very heterosexual female that I both get and give sexual satisfaction.

I must say, I had never really thought about a connection between PCOS and my sex drive until now, and while my hormone levels have always come back "normal" (which makes no sense to me), I've been super randy since I was about 11, which was about the same time I started growing a beard LOL...so I definitely think there's a connection!
I have a very high sex drive as well, the guys that I've been with... that has not been a problem! They love it!! I truly really enjoy sex and I hope it never changes to be honest with you.

Doing Low GI diet as of Sept. 07. DX with PCOS in Sept 07' as well.
Started at a size 24, now a size 14. My waist was 44", now it's 32".
I am on no medication, just diet and exercise.

I wonder was your free testosterone level normal -- it's not always measured, but that's the level that really matters. Certainly if your beard growth started about 11 and you started experiencing high libido at 11 you were experiencing the sort of things that you expect males to experience at puberty, so it would look very much as if your levels of free testosterone were somewhere into the male range.
And yes, those of us with a libido in the male range need a male who's got a similar level of libido :-)
I have a very HIGH sex drive and my husband has NO COMPLAINTS...hahaha...I think he has told his cousin in confidence..because his cousins wife sometimes asks me why I have a high sex drive and dont I get annoyed because she avoids sex.. I feel like telling her..Žno its not annoying. I love sex and I have my man more then satisfied...you should think about having sex more often maybe then your husband wont cheat on youŽ....but I just smile and laugh...hahahaha...I swear some women are just envious..
My! That sounds exactly like me LMAO My fiance tells me I am crazy and he cant keep up with my sex drive..We have intercourse probably every 4 days but I would like to have it every other day if I could..I really think it has something to do with me having very high testosterone levels..I guess I am starting to think like a man in that area LOL I went threw a period in life when I didnt want sex at all and that was when I was first dignosed with PCOS but, the last few years I feel like my hormones are raging and I want it daily!
yah i thought i was the onl;y one with a high sex drive. Well not right now im in pain, but i have had a few boyfriends complain about it. haha- but i also think its because im young 22 yrs old. you think age has a factor in it?
Me, too! I always thought a decreased sex drive was common with PCOS, but over the years I've read vastly different opinions on that. I, too, have a high sex drive. My partner, who has officially been diagnosed with PCOS, has a LOW sex drive. Both proven to be related with PCOS, but not a great match up! You're not alone!
I thought it was just me! I have a high drive also!

no ur not the only one with that problem n I can say thru experience people have it . its jus sum people don't want to or can't express they're feelins to they spouse or the person they sleepin with. but I myself have that problem n unfortunately, my wife can't handle the fact that I can get several erections n bust twice n a few hours or so ...
