Exclamation High testosterone

Hi, I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now. Which I know is not much but I grew up thinking pregnancy was easy. I come from a family of eight, my sister has five with two sets of twins and my other is sister is pregnant. They all got pregnant after a month literally. So I was very confused when I wasn't pregnant by three months. I was dx with PCOS 10/08. I had a US done which had 10-12 cyst in each ovary, my testosterone was 116, IR was 11, and prolactin was alittle high. I was 114lbs, 5'4. After my dose of metformin got increased to 2000mg, I lost 6lbs. Hate those pills. I am now on Clomid 100mg. My questions are:

1. does metformin help with testosterone b/c my last lab test was 108 after being on it for two months.
2. Do I have any hope, b/c I have none.
3. Are there any insurances that will help with infertility?
4. Before taking clomid my progesterone was 9.4 and with taking it, is was 0.8 and my ovulation test said I was ovulating for two weeks. Why did that happen?

Sorry for all the questions but this is the only place I could find to hopefully answer them.

welcome to soul cysters metformin is a very common med to be on with PCOS. It may take a few months before you notice if it works. I couldn't handle taking metformin so now I take Yasmin.

I wish I could take Yasmin, but we are trying to get pregnant. Metformin is no picnic.
