I have gotten severe hip cramps lately. The happen usually at night, or any time I move quickly. They are AWEFUL! They did a magnesium test on me to see if that was the problem, and it's not. Has anyone had this happen? I do have very narrow hips...I don't know if that means anything.

Yes, I had that a lot. I think it was all ligament stuff. The only thing that seem to help me was sleeping with a pillow between my knees while I was on my side. (PS-- my hips aren't narrow

My doctor told me its because my pelvis is outta whack (line) and makes my hips hurt and go numb, esp when sleeping.

yep...i started around the same time as you...maybe a little earlier. My dr. said it was round ligament pain. That pain will go away after a while and then you get the dreaded vaginal pain.

oh gosh im having the same thing its pretty bad - i will lay on my left side n my dh will massage my right hip(whitch is the worst side)

I did talk to my new OB and he said the same thing that it was round ligament pain and it would get worse and move up as I get bigger. GRR!

Yup I get those darn hip cramps every night. It helps a little if I switch the side I am lying on.

omg you mean it gets worse!?> not that im complainnig im BLESSED to be expecting but ..... lol its not pleasant - n i will saythis i shoulda got my weight under control first but i kept thinking it wouldnteffect it but so far ithas effected my pregnancy at least i think - the mild cramops or sharp ains hat come n go are very unconfy for me n my weight is the onlt think i canatribbute tis too- im trying myhardest to watch whatieat ,drink and taking my metformin- i guess im learning the hard way

Try sleeping with a pillow between your knees, it really helped with my dd and it's time to start again, these babies are already wearing on my hips/lower back!
