Points: 1,903.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,903.00 | Holy ****, He gave me them!!! Will I went to the endo. today the one that I went to Back in OCt. that dx 'd me w/ PCOS and showed him my TSH results from April of 4.22 and the one's from years ago and he said that he agreeded w/me that something is going on w/my thyroid. He asked me who wrote the The AACE's TSH target Range Of 0.3 to 3.0 ,I said I did found it on the internet on my support groups website, couldn't get into all the details, (he's too busy to say too much detail). He told me that I was totally right on and that I should have been treated back in April w/results of 4.22.Iwas so relieved and completely shocked. To tell you the truth I thought he would disagree and I would have to had agrued w/him, but I didn't . He prescribed me synthroid 75 mcg's once a day. Will check me again in a month.
He also said since I couldn't handle the 1000 mg's of Gluc . but I did ok on the 500 too just continue taking the 500 mg's. I said no problem that was better than nothing @ all.
I totally lucked out on getting this app. today. I was in the area and I called a 12:30 and asked if there was any cancellations and they said yes one for 1:30 and I was happy I said I will take it. I of course was late having him come in and see me it was more like 2pm ,but it was worth it to get the scripts.
Thanks everyone on here who has responded to my posts and the advice I have been given. Luckily for me I don't have to end up driving too far to get someone to take me seriously.
Teresa

You may find after being on thyroid treatment for a while that you can tolerate the higher doses of gluc. It's worth checking into in a couple of months, anyway.

I have not started the Gluc. yet ,I'm having trouble timing it along w/the other med. s .CVS recommends taking it in the evening w/food.
So far I've noticed since starting the synthroid that I'm starting to get more tired then usual, but I'm also running a low grade temp. for some reason so that could also be the problem.Maybe it takes a month or so for my body to adjust to the med's. I guess I will soon see.
Thanks for your replies, you've been very helpful.

It will all have been absorbed by the time anything else gets into your system.
