Default AT HOME Laser Hair Remover

Any one ever use it? I just got it off ebay for $199. It's the Epila Laser hair remover. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I don't want to get dissapointed again. If you have it did it work? Or is it working?

TIA

I have not even heard of it but I personally wouldn't use a laser on myself as they are dangerous if not used properly and there is a reason those who use them in clinics have to be trained to do it safely. Also, a lot of those "do it yourself" hair removal products are kind of a cheap cruddy version of the real thing and don't work like they are hyped to. I would definitely urge you to use caution if you decide to try this at home.

Thanks for replying. I got it in the mail today already and for some reason am not excited to use it. Like my hopes have been up for so long im ready for another let down. Anyway, It looks ok and has an adjustable power switch. I just have a feeling it will collect dust like that one touch electrolsis home kit I've had for years. Ive have too many hairs for that and that thing hurt!

I finally got to use it today for the first time. The instruction book to it is terrible. I think it was poorly written. I'm not even sure how often I'm suppose to use it. It has an adjustable laser power and adjustable pulse time. I had it set at the highest. I only felt a zap a couple of times. Maybe my hair wasn't short enough, I don't know. It didn't seem as strong as the laser I used when I went to a professional.

I'm using it on my whole chin area so I was careful not to do it too much. I don't want to get burnt there. When I was done there was a little redness for a few minutes. It also says it covers a large area all at once but the laser is not that big.

If you do a search on Epila Laser Hair remover Forums, there's all different sites and some people that used it for a while and say it worked great for them and some say it was a waste of money. And some that are using it and updating results. But I'm still skeptical. Thats why I was hoping someone here had tried it. The People that have said it worked great for them, how do I know that their not trying to sell it on people? Yea, I'm parenoid like that. But I'm also desperate and don't have the money to go to a pro. I've tried everything. Except for that Lard idea someone posted a while back. Haha. BTW, Has anyone tried that yet?

Anyway, I'll let everyone know if it works after I use it a while. I was going to post a pic of it but you can do a search and they have them on ebay. Wish me luck.
