Default Home waxing

Has anyone ever tried the Veet at home comfort waxing? I am wondering if when you've waxed, the hair comes back darker and longer.

Also, I am looking for something to use on the face and you can't use this stuff on your face... any suggestions?

Horrible rash here, too. It was so ugly. Had to go to work with it for days. Looked like I had a face FULL of zits. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. Also, my facial hair came back WORSE right after waxing. Sucks !!

If it is your first time waxing I would definately recommend going to a professional. The best waxing kit I have found are the preprepared wax strips. It means no mess and you dont have to worry about the temperature of the wax or spreading it even. From what I remember its a veet product.

I tried the veet cream removal the other day ... for some reason ALL creams leave me with a huge burning rash... No more creams for me..

I have sensitive skin and have been able to wax my face using Surgi-wax Brazilian.(yes, I know that isn't the intended parts, but it worked) No strips involved, and I did not get any rash/irritation like I did w/creams.

I wax my own arms, but I did go to a salon a few times to observe the technique. I have a wax heater, and I buy the cans of wax that fit in the heater and muslin rolls when I need them. I've never had a rash. Sometimes I get a couple of pimples on the hair follicles. It's a great exfoliation process.
