Our social worker is coming this sunday .. shes doing my brother's first then coming to our house...eek...im not sure what to expect .. for those of you that have had it done do you have any advice.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! We haven't gotten that far along but the one thing I know for sure is to just be yourself! Social workers know that there are no perfect people so try to relax and just be yourself. As long as your not some crazy axe murderer I think things will go really good.
We just met our social worker and she was totally reassuring that it's not about picking super humans it's about making sure your ducks are in a row and your ready for a child. Our homestudy will consist of one meeting with us as a couple and then at another time seperate individual meetings with the two of you. You probably already know that though huh?

Congratulations!!!!!!! So tell us all about it! I've got a question for you since you're totally experienced now. Did you have to fill out a pre study questionnaire and if you did were the questions you answered talked about during the homestudy?

yeah we did a questionaire.. she asked about how we decided to adopt..how long we TTC.. discipline.. our marriage strengths and weakness's.. she was surprised we werent married a full year yet (july 24 our 1st anniversary) she inspected our house.. she was here about 2 hrs..i was sooooo nervous
