Just wondering if any1 is plus size and pregnant and if so how long did it take you to conceive. Im absolutly going nutty its been a long time for me and not pregnant, but both my other pregnancies I was just as fat and got pregnant first time. guess im just looking for encouragement. Thanks |

I am plus sized. It took me 23 months ttc my dd, 14 of those on meds. And 16 months ttc these babies, with 2 m/c and 6 medicated cycles! Hang in there, there's hope!

What the term plus sized means seems to vary from country to country and state to state, but I'm 5'3" and weigh ~200lbs so I'm just gonna reply...
It took us 2,5 years to conceive due to my PCOS and some motility issues on DH's part. Finally made it with the help of Glucophage and a lot of luck.

Hi, I am plus size. I am 5'3 and I started at 228 now down to 221 because of morning sickness. It took a year and a half for me to even get pregnant. That included 4 rounds of clomid (didn't ovulate on it) and 3 rounds of femara (ovulated everytime with it). I thought it would never happen then this last cycle boom I am pregnant with twins. Dont' give up and good luck on getting that BFP.

I'm plus sized. It took me 3 years but that was because the dr's didnt realize i had problems with my progesterone. I had one m/c due to the progesterone and then the first month they fixed the problem i got preg. again. There is hope. Hang in there.

I was very fortunate to only have to do 2 clomid cycles with met. I O'd everytime. I did though lose 32 pounds b4 starting and I really think that helped a lot. So I went from 252 to 220. At the beginning of this pg I gained 4 pounds quickly, and now I lost them again without even trying, ha, no m/s either. Don't know whats up with that. But there is hope and it can and will happen. I never ever thought it would happen for us. Give it time. GL!
