no, not taking anything else. I actually stopped taking met, I'd been on it a year and it didn't do much for me. Doing south beach diet and losing some weight has helped more.

It was freaking me out, to be honest. And I had taken a preg test this past weekend, which was negative. That was one of the doc's concerns.

Have any of you ever taken Prometrium to get AF, but AF didn't come, but you felt like you were going to ovulate? I took an OPK this morning and got a faint test line. I know it's not positive, but WTF? I'm supposed to be in the luteal phase because of the prometrium, right?

sorry im not really sure.. I know in the past when AF hardley ever showed when i did get af it would be very very heavy..these days its not like that most of the time but i know for me it was normal.

Hi Ladies,

I'm probably going to take soy next cycle and I have a question. I see that some women take it days 3-7 and some take it days 5-9. What is the difference? For me I usually have AF for 9 days, (CD 1-3 very very heavy, CD 4-6 medium, CD 7-9 spotting). So would it make more sense for me to take soy on CD5-9 so I don't O too early? I don't want to O while I'm still spotting. Does this make sense?

And Lina - CONGRATS!!! I love hearing the BFP's around here!

Can the soy be used in combo with other meds? How is it purchased? What time of day is it taken and how much? I am willing to try anything.

Mojo~~ What other meds are you wanting to mix it with? Most WalMart and local pharmacies sell the Soy Isoflavones (sp). Most of us take it at night to avoid any side effects. We also normally start out at 80mg.

Molly~~ They say taking soy days 3-7 makes more eggs. Taking it days 5-9 makes more mature eggs. Meaning the eggs you are producing will be more mature if you take it days 5-9. HTH

When I took Soy 5-9 my O date was around 19 and my lp was short. I now take it 3-7 and I O about CD15 and my lp is now 12-16 days. I usually take mine in the morning but you can take it any time of day. Hope that Helps Also B6 makes the LP longer

WOW ladies we have gotten really quiet. This is definately differrent. How is everybody? I am doing so so. I have a summer cold and a sunburn. Man this sucks. Hopefully I will get fieeling better soon. I hate when the weather plays games and causes me to get sick. It really sucks.

I don't think so just as long as it's Soy Isoflavones. I see you are in Ontario too. I get mine from the Nutrition House or GNC and they are 50mg capsules.
