I am soooo excited! I got my Bush Bux today and bought the Clearblue Fertility Monitor! I have been thinking about it for a long time, and I really like the idea that it measures hormones (unlike the OvWatch, which I'm sure works just fine, but I just don't understand it) and can give you 4-5 days of advanced warning. Also FF can use data from the CBEF too. I'm off to read the instruction manual (I downloaded it so I don't have to open the box yet). I got the batteries and a box of test sticks too. I am SOOO excited! It does initially cost more than the OvWatch ($250 including the box of test sticks) but a box of the sticks ($50) lasts 3 months. My doctor likes it too.

Thanks farmgrrl, Regina, and Becca for your answers. I still am not quite sure what days would be best for me to take it. CD 3-7 seems to be when most take it, so I guess I'll start there. I'm just don't want to O too early, I still am spotting at CD9. Does anyone take it CD 4-8, maybe get the best of both worlds???

Hello Ladies, sorry I have been gone for a while. Things got kind of nuts for me, especially my last cycle. However, after bleeding for 20+ days, I actually may have 'O'd and had decent temps. Although my LP was a bit short. But it's a place to start. So this cycle I am starting over again and crossing my fingers for a regular 5-7 day AF.

Farmgirl, good luck with the monitor, I use it religiously , three pregnancies because of it.
I'm on day 18 and waitjng to see an "O". I've been real bad about taking the acv. I hope that it doesn't mess up our chances.

I am stuck waiting on a paper check. But we are talking about when it does come in, getting a monitor or OVWatch and trying it. Since there has been success with each. That makes me unsure which one to get.

Mere~~ I hope you have a good normal cycle now. Sorry AF has been giving you fits.

Molly~~ I actually did take it cd 4-8 last cycle. I still seemed to O around the same time. It never made any difference.

Misty~~ You will have to keep me updated on how it goes with the monitor. I am so curious, lol.

AFM my cold is really kicking my butt. I can barely breath and it seems that my head is about to blow. On the good side AF is slowing down and close to going away. So we shall see how it goes. Hopefully this will be my cycle, and then I will get to spend my Bush Bux on a PG and buying baby stuff. That is what I keep telling myself.

I'm getting a paper check, too. And we are getting an Ov Watch with it. DH just doesnt know it. LOL I'm gonna take bcp this month and JUne, be sneaky and TRY to get pg in July, and if that doesnt work then I'll go back on for 2 months and then try in October and November. If no pg, then I'll go back on in Dec and Jan and try again in Feb. I have talked to SO many women who only have to go on bcp for 1 MAYBE 2 months to absorb cysts, so 3-4 months seems pretty excessive to me. So I think I'll try 2 months of bcp, 2 months of ttc, etc... for a while and see how that goes. Hope it works. DH and I agreed MUTUALLY that if I don't get pg by the end of June 2009 that we are going to stop TTC and just be happy with our 2 kids. It was hard for me to agree to that, but I can also see that it's taking over my life. I hate that. I have 2 gorgeous kids that need me, and I feel like I'm missing out on alot bc I'm so consumed with having another one. So we'll hope for another one and try for it for another year, but then thats it. This June will be 1 year that we have been ttc #3. Next June will be 2 years. He feels thats long enough, and if I'm really really honest, I have to agree. If I didnt have any kids, it would be different. But I have 2 amazing kids, and I need and want to devote my time to them, not obsessing about ttc. So wish me luck that it happens in the next 13 months. BC if not, thats it.

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking around here for awhile and have really grown to love each one of you. I pray for you, and truly appreciate each one of you. I feel like I finally have someone who understands what I'm going through. With the dreading Mothers Day fastly approaching I am unsure how I'm going to handle it. What do you all do? I can't focus on my mother, too far away- shes in Oregon, I'm in South Carolina We have only have one positive opk, and never a BFP. We have been ttc for 2yrs. I must say that I know way more about my body now than ever before and am so grateful for all of you and the stories that you share with complete strangers.
How do you all get thru BFN after BFN? I think that's the hardest part, when you think that there is a possibilty, and then a BFN comes and knocks you back down. DH is very supportive of anything I try in meds. He doesn't really understand what's going on, and I really don't think he wants to. He keeps saying that I will see a totally different side of him as soon as we get a BFP, but he can't think that way yet. I dragged him through Babies-R-Us the other day while I oooo'ed and awwwed over the baby stuff. Poor guy. Do any of you ever feel out of place in a store like that? I feel like I am not allowed to be there because I don't have a baby, isn't that weird? I actually feel guilty for looking at baby stuff. I guess a part of me doesn't believe my wish will ever come true. Now look at me- balling like a baby to a bunch of ladies who don't even know me. Pretty sad state huh?
