Hormonally Challenged!!!

Hello ladies!

I've been taking BCP for a few months now. I tried Ortho Cyclen (the pills from hell), and now taking Yasmin. Unfortunately, I am now having menopause-like symptoms, and need to speak with a doctor, which I haven't yet done.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? These are the symptoms:

Facial flushing
Hot/cold flashes
Upset stomach (gas, diarrhea, constipation, heart burn, naseau)
My period came a day late, and only lasted 1/2 day
Exhausted (falling asleep mid-day)
Night sweats
Sweaty/stinky feet (lovely)

I have not personally experienced any of those things, but I would like to tell you about a book that really helped me out. It's called "The Hormone Connection" and it really helped me understand the hormonal reasons for why i was feeling the way I feel. The book addressed most of the symptoms you mentioned. I would recommend you read it for sure!
