Default hormone tests

Hi

I want to get my testosterone and oestrogen levels tested by my GP, but I'm not sure if we can get this done on the nhs.

I was diagnosed wtih pcos when i was seventeen (about 7 years ago), and just want a recheck.

Hope someone can help! Thanks!!

Just go and see your GP they could be able to do it, if not you may be refered to the hospital about your condition, I had tests at GP first then refered to endo

I should think your GP would be more than happy to re-test them if you ask...

My GP is not one of the "more than happy" ones to do any tests... it's worth a try and a fight though even if they aren't that happy to do it. I wish I had more energy to go fight my local surgery for what I am rightfully entitled to! They only seem to care if I wanted to have a baby and had not been able to conceive.

Good luck,

Vicky-Louise
