Default Hormones finally balancing out..yet hair falling out even more?!?

when I went in for a complete hormonal workup with my Endo, he said everything was normal except my estrogen was low. He gave me provera and after taking it once I have gotten my AF for 4 months now (sometimes twice a month, but better then none). My weight has dropped considerably even though I was never over weight really, and Im eating better but it's not as easy to gain weight as it was before which is good. The dark patches have almost cleared up too.I was on Spiro for the excess hair, but now have weened off it and my hair is still growing slower and lighter..but one thing that hasnt come about is my hair loss.

This is my biggest concern of them all, and it seems like my body is regulating, yet my hair is falling out even more now. Every shirt I wear is covered in knots of hair at the end of the day, I have 2 cats and I swear I outbeat them with the shedding. My scalp is showing through terribly and I've been doing everything to help this hairloss with no help at all from doctors. I've tried every herb there is, and if my testosterone isnt high and my estrogen is balanced, why is my hair still falling out!??

Last I saw my Endo Dr, I told him about this and he said "to be honest, and I'm not just saying this, but I dont see it and I dont think it will ever get bad"..well I see it, VERY MUCH, and it IS getting bad!

I'm sorry if this was a rant...
has any other cyster out there had their body finally balance out, yet your hair continued to get thinner??

Me. That describes me. I'm very normal now in my hormonal profile. But my hair is just shot, really bad. I will never be able to go without a wig from here on out. So, I'm assuming yours isn't as bad as mine. And it may well never get that bad! But don't let your RE dismiss it as a concern! I note you said "He." Men do not think our hair loss is a bad as we do. They just don't have the eyes for it, and they minimize it.

I only wish I knew what to tell you would help........Big Hugzzzzzzzz
