Question Horrible ingrown hairs after shaving....

Does anyone have any suggestions to stop those ugly little red ingrown hair bumps after shaving *down there*? I have tried exfoliating, only shaving like once every 2 weeks, shaving with the grain instead of against the grain. I have even tried the stupid creme and spray products you can buy at all of the adult stores. I am at my wits end! If it continues I will be forced to fork over the $1,000 to have it lasered!!!!

Trim it very close to the skin with a beard trimmer. Then go over the whole area with a razor from the Philips Norelco range of men's-type rotary head electric razors.

I will have to try that too.. I have the same problem and it seems like the infected hairs take forever to clear up.

I've not tried it yet, but someone recommended a product called Bump Stopper for dealing with those ingrowns and shaving rashes. I get a rash everytime I shave my bikini area. I also get ingrowns on my chin/neck sometimes. Anyway, this stuff is made for black men, cuz they suffer from a lot of ingrowns when shaving. So you'll find it in the men's shaving section of your local drugstore. Hope it works for both of us. I'm gonna try it on my next shave. :-)
