This is the easiest one I've found and my hubby loves it.
2 Tbs butter
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbs paprika
2 Tbs chili powder
15 oz can tomato sauce

*melt butter is skillet
*stir in onions
*stir in hamburger and brown
*drain
*stir in salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder
*add water to cover
*simmer until water is absorbed, stirring freq.
*stir in tom. sauce

I think it is already spicy but you could add hot sauce to it as well.

I don't have a chili recipe, but had to jump in being it is so far WV Chics! Where are you all from? I am from Wyoming County. Anywhere close?

Actually, I've only lived here in Elkview for about 21/2 years. I moved here when I married my DH. I grew up in Charleston, though.
