Hey ladies i just finished taking 100mg clomid on saturday oct 26th on cd 12 no follies were visible and i go back tommorow it will be cd17 for me.ok here is my ? does clomid give you hot flashes and if so then what causes them?? thanks anyone that helps..BRANDY
yes 1 of the side effects to clomid is hot falshes I had them really bad when I took it. Not sure what "causes" it just know it is definatly a side effect from it..

I am in Hotflash city when I take Clomid! Clomid is an anti-estrogen and that is what seems to control your "thermostat". Have you ever heard a menopausal woman complaining of hotflashes? It is the same thing, except their estrogen production is in a natural decline instead of a medicated "stupor"!
Yes some people do get hotflashes with Clomid. When I took it back in 2001, I had like 11-15 hotflashes a day starting with day one of the pill lasting for 2 weeks after. It was miserable.
