 Hot flashes and increased sweating?
Can Met cause hot flashes and increased sweating? I started met last Monday and Levo (for hypothyroidism) last Wednesday, and the last couple days I am sweating a LOT.
Yesterday morning I woke up completely SOAKED, with my panties glued wet to my skin. My pillow, pillowcase, and sheets were saturated as well and still were not dry by afternoon.
Even right now, I have sweat dripping down the back of my knees and I'm barely wearing anything, just a light summer nightgown. It isn't even hot in here. I'm about ready to turn in, but I don't want to have another morning like yesterday.
I don't know why I am sweating so much. I just wanted to see if this was a side effect. I didn't have an issue with it at all throughout last week when I started the medication, but I did up my dosage this last Monday so I wonder if it is the Met and not the Levo that is the culprit... or if the cause is something completely different?
