Default Hot flashes?? What the heck!

ARGH!! I am 19 freaking years old! What the heck am I doing with hot flashes??!!!

Ok at least I think they are hot flashes. It is happening more and more frequently that I just explode in a rash of heat. For no apparent reason I just feel hot all over. Yuck. Just thinking about it creeps me out.

And then I am not sure if this is related or not but I am on vacation in Thailand right now so yes it is hot and humid pretty much all the time. But my family will go out to sit by the pool and in less than 10 minutes I will be so hot I will sweating perfusely and no one else has even begun to think it is hot. Any ideas on that one? I swear I come back inside and I look like I just ran a marathon compared to everyone else. It's just gross.

Sorry for the unpleasant nature of this topic...

I had this issue myself...I was hot all the time and often without reason. My cheeks used to get a bright red and be very hot. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I have only been on meds 2 weeks, but already i can see a difference, the other night I woke up with my teeth chattering (air conditioned) I am not sure if that is your issue or not but it might be worth checking into. I was told after the diagnoses that having hot flashes and being very hot can be a symptom, but most websites only mentioned being overly cold. If you do get checked out make sure doctor uses the new guidelines. Good Luck!
