Hi!

I already have an RE...but I need a good PCOS friendly gyn. I'd ask my RE...but my next appts not for a bit, and I really should make a gyn appt now. It's been nearly two years (naughty girl!).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a really great OBGYN that I would not trade for the world. He was recommended by a coworker and he is the best. I know alot of people who use him now. His name is Eric Haufrect, MD

He is in the Medical Center on Fannin in the Smith Tower.

I'm on the far NW side but my Ob/Gyn is Dr.Joseph Montgomery at Cy-Fair Hospital if you happen to be on thise side of town.

He isn't the most up to date person on PCOS but he does know what it is and he IS learning more about it since having a few strong PCOS'ers come through his office lately

If you like your RE though and trust his/her opinion, they should be able to give you some recommendations over the phone, no matter when your next appointment is.

i have recently found a great PCOS specialist in the Houston area. He is at Campbell road and Katy freeway 9055. His name is dr michael allon. www.drallon.com He is the president of the PCOSA of houston and he knows his stuff for sure. He also heads a pcos support group! He is very very very concerned with each patient and is very attentive to your situation and problems. The good thing is he has a obgyn and re office in the same building on the same floor!!!
