I go to Dr.Michael Allon in Katy and am happy with him. You can google him to get the location and contact info.
He specializes in PCOS treatment. You can call to find out if they accept Unicare insurance.

I used Dr. Allon as well. I did like him.
He is on katy freeway.

I did have a fellow sc that used him and had problems though.

Endo or OB.. If I could find an OB that is well versed in PCOS.. that'd be great too... further than just helping with fertility..

Dr Allon is awesome. I love his quiet demeanor and he seems so caring. The staff is great and everyone is so thorough. I have never left without all of my questions answered. With their help, I have lost 40lbs since March and I feel terrific.

Dr. Leah Schenk at Fertility Specialists of Houston (www.fshivf.com) is my RE. One of her areas of expertise is PCOS and I LOVE HER! She's really great...and accepts UniCare. The main office is on Fannin (at Greenbriar), but she also works out of the Sugar Land office on Mondays. The nurses and staff (at both offices) are also really great.

FSH is part of the OGA group (www.obgynassociates.com), which has lots of offices all over the city (since they're part of the same group, they all accept UniCare). I chose a doctor from there (because I wanted the ease of being treated by two different doctors who were colleagues) whose bio I liked at an office near my home; she was very well versed in PCOS. I suspect (though I have no proof) that any of the doctors at OGA would be good with PCOS patients given their association with FSH.
