Ok I know this has been explained several times, and normally I am not so computer dumb (it must be the preggy brain!). I have tried to put a ticker in my siggy (from snugglepie) and when i copy the html code that it gives me, I have tried:
1. pasting it behind the http://www. part at the bottom of the page.
2. taking out the http part and pasting the code.
3. pasting the code where you are able to type your siggy message.
Every single time i get the same message: "INVALID FILE". What am i doing wrong? I would like to have a ticker like everyone else, but i just can't seem to clue in how to do it.

Hey Snoodler I'm glad I'm not the only one who cant figure this out!!!!
Annoyingly I had an animated avatar which I deleted cos I thought it was stopping me from posting a new one, and now I cant get that back either!!!!
I have tried every which way to add pics and blinkies and all I get is invalid file or unable to save file (have tried reducing sizes, doesnt make a bit of difference!)
I have a my space site so I know I'm not a complete duffer.

OMG I just worked it out!!!!!
You paste the img in the actual box not in the smaller one that says www
Its not perfect but I know im not a clutz anymore!!!!!!!

I keep try to add a pic to my signature. I have resized my picture at photobucket and copied and pasted the IRL number where it says and I keep getting the message saying Invalid File. What does that mean? I resized it so it's only 10kb, so it's not too big. I don't get what Im doing wrong. TIA.

Well, I posted a reply to this thread that I now don't see..so if it's there and this is a repeat..sorry. I've been trying to post a picture to my signature. I have resized the picture so it is small enough. It said to post the IRM code from photobucket. When I do that it say Invalid File. When I try the URL Link it says Unable to Save. So, which code am I suppose to be using and why wont they work? TIA.
OK..I see the first post that I did (it wasn't showing up before, sorry).

Thanks kidrobot for figuring that out and posting the answer. (put the link in the signature box,not the www. box). I've been trying to figure out how to post a ticker in signature for a while now.
I didn't realize how truly computer inept I was.
I think if I had received that invalid file message once more, I would have tossed the laptop across the room
