Default How to Build up lining?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew some tricks to build up your uterine lining?
I am on a combo cycle of clomid/gonal-f, and am worried about the lining because of the clomid.
I think I read about taking a baby asprin a day to help with blood flow to the uterus?
Anything else I could be doing?
Thank you!

I really don't know that there is anything you can do... short of not using clomid.

I have heard of people taking estrogen to help with lining issues before O... I think? But if you took estrogen and clomid together, would the estrogen possibly make the clomid not work as well?? Speculating. I have no clue. Then prometrium after O which futher increases the lining, but it is pre-O that they measure it, so pre-O measurements must be important, too.

I don't know if baby aspirin helps if you don't have clotting issues. Probably doesn't hurt.

But I think that one reason docs do the "mini stim" is to get the best of both worlds... the O side of clomid without so many side effects... the stimulation benefits of the shots without so much risk of over stim... lower cost all around... I would think that simply combining the two would increase the liklihood that your lining is good despite clomid?

Do you have reason to suspect your lining is a problem?

Thank you hpotterfan1 and RunnerDuck for your replies.
No, I just started my cycle, and go in for my 1st US tomarrow morning.
Just reading about the lining issues some have had on clomid got me to wondering if there is something I could do to help with the lining.
I do have a scrip for progesterone suppositiories to start after O. Is Prometrium a progesterone?
Thanks again!

Yup, prometrium is progesterone. It is a natural progesterone (I think?) and seems pretty common for REs to prescribe it following ovulation.

eta - hope you have no lining issues to worry about.

I am currently on aspirin 81mg once a day to help with my lining. Also in the past when my lining has been thin, my doc put me on estradiol (estrogen). I think I was on something like 2mg pills vaginally three times a day. The aspirin has seemed to help since I have been on it. Best of luck to you. ~Babydust & Stickies~

I tried Clomid and it did the same exact thing to me. My RE put me on Tamoxifen...it does the same thing as Clomid but doesn't thin out your lining. For example, while on Clomid, my lining was 3.5 mm at O time. In contrast, while I was on tamoxifen, it was close to 8 mm!

My doctor does not moniter so I am not really sure how my lining has been. I am currently on my second cycle of Clomid. My doctor perscribed me Vagifem (which is estrodial taken vaginally) along with the clomid. I take the Clomid CD3-7 and then the Vagifem CD8-12. The Vagifem is supposed to help you build your lining and also prevent hostile CM. I have had no CM issues at all. HTH!
