Default How can I help?

My wife and I are trying to have a baby and after two tries with Clomide, we have gone on to the shots. I feel badly for her since she is the one who is going thru the physical pain of it all.

From a guys standpoint, what have you done to help?

Somehow it got 'snagged' by the system, and I'm just now seeing that it need to be made 'visible'. I'm sure some of the cysters here will have some advice for you...

I'm not a guy, but I thought I might answer.

I just like my my husband acknowledges what I go through. It sounds simple, but sometimes I feel like he forgets. I know some other women have their husbands give the shots so they feel involved.

Oh and don't complain about giving an SA sample

Hey Eyeman,
Being there for her no matter what is the most important thing. At least, this is what I feel. My fiance and I have been through a lot and his support has meant the world to me. Even when I am desperate and down, he is always there to help me up. This unconditional support is the most important thing. Thanks for being a great guy and caring enough for her to be posting here.

It's been a couple days, and I hope things are well for you, I wanted you to know that I love it when my DH talks about baby things. unprovoked if she looks sad during a diaper commercial later that day walk up and say "honey? I think we should put the crib over here." or something like that, something so that she knows you want this baby I'm sure you think she knows, but you have to remind women, a lot, we forget, we're busy taking care of you!

Just like the PP, I love it when my DF talks to me about baby stuff. Like when we go to walmart (for other stuff) and we walk past the baby strollers or clothes or cribs or whatever, he says "hey I like this one. Can we get it?" Or "OHHHH this outfit is SOOO cute... it would be perfect for bringing a baby girl home in!" Or when he tells me he cant wait to be a daddy, and for me to be a mommy, and my dog to be an uncle. LOL. I love the fact that when I pull out a salad instead of a sandwich to eat for lunch, he asks me "can pregnant ladies actually diet? I just wonder, because you MIGHT be... you might have to spoil yourself for nine months soon." Or anything like that, really! Just make sure she knows you want a baby as much as she does. Ask her if there's anything you can do. TELL HER SHE'S BEAUTIFUL and YOUR BABIES WILL LOOK JUST LIKE HER.
Oh, and make sure she knows you're ready to do the baby dance ANY TIME she hollers down the stairs at you "GET UP HERE IM OVULATING RIIIIIGHT NOOOOWWW". LOL.

Make sure you tell her you love her.. and make sure she BELIEVES you when you say it. <3

Default I hope this helps

My dh and I are going through the same thing. All I ask of him is that he be supportive and be there when I need to cry, scream, whine, or just talk about it. Yes we are going through the pain but you men are right beside us the whole way and that makes us feel good and safe and we know that eventually God will grant us the baby we want so badly. So just stand by your wife and let her know how much love and appreciate what she is doing to give you both a child. I hope this helps and have a great day! Best of luck to you and your wife!!
