How can you tell the difference between clomid & pregancy symptoms?
I have been having symptoms similar to pregnancy symptoms but this was also my first round of clomid. I took it on days 5-9 and had NO symptoms while taking it. It was only after ovulation that I started to have symptoms of pregnancy or the clomid.
1 DPO- Fatigue, mild dizzy spells, Light cramping (feels as if I’m about to start my cycle in a few days). Odd color in stool. Mild shooting pain through left breast.
2 DPO- Light cramping (like AF is about to start)
3 DPO- frequent Urination, fatigue, light cramping (like AF) CM
4 DPO- Fatigue, vivid dreams, bloating, light cramping (like AF)
5 DPO- Fatigue, bloating, light cramping (feels like AF is coming), headache! CM
6 DPO- Fatigue, bloating, light cramping (like AF) Feels like nipples might be getting sore, mild headache. CM
7 DPO- Fatigue, bloating, constipation, nipples still getting worse, moody in morning.
8 DPO- Fatigue, bloating, sore nipples, breasts are getting sore, Mild cramping (feels like AF is coming).
Can someone help me understand whats type of symptoms these are? I looked up clomid symptoms but they didn't say if these symptoms stay past ovulation. I am too early to take an H.P.T.

I only get s/e from Clomid after I Ov. For me there has never really been a difference between Clomid s/e and pregnancy symptoms, my pregnancy symptoms never kicked in until after 5wks usually... so the Clomid s/e's just faded into pregnancy symptoms. Nothing was really noticeable.
The way I see it though, if it's to early to test, it is usually to early to have pregnancy symptoms I know, we look for whatever glimpse of hope we can find... but this is one area where it's just not going to tell us much.
Best wishes.

There aren't any. they are the same. So, you pretty much have to suffer thinking you are preggo until you take an hpt to really know for sure. LOL! It is a vicious cycle, I tell ya. I was so nauseaous one month, I knew for sure it was it, esp after I vomited. But nope, af showed a few days later

I was wondering about the se of the clomid. I just started it yesterday so I have not had any symptoms yet but a friend told me that she took it before and she had the symptoms of early pregnancy but was never actually pregnant. Good luck.

My pregnancy symptoms felt just like AF coming. I was sure I had PMS. The only symptoms that I had with Clomid that weren't part of my regular PMS type symptoms were hot flashes, which I had while actually on the Clomid.
I was certain my cycle was a bust because I felt so much like AF was on her way, but apparently it was just pregnancy and/or Clomid symptoms.
