I made a post and the title is no longer appropriate...so i wanted to change it to reflect the new topic that has been incorporated. so i went on edit and changed the title...

but it's only changed the title of the post and not the topic.

anyway i can change the topic title?

You only have a 3 minutes (or so) to change the title. If you still want to change it, repost it with a new title, and then delete the original post. (if anyone has responded to the original thread, their posts will also be deleted if you delete the entire thread.

Mods for the forum can change the title. It's a bit tricky, but by clicking on the thread title and then hitting the "stop" button on their browser window before the thread loads up, it can be changed (in IE).
