Default How to Deal (and not the movie)

We're too young to worry about infertility and diabetes (I really, really hope so!!), but we're in high school and college and PCOS can be really tough to deal with. Weight, acne, excess hair everywhere -- how should teens and early 20 yr olds deal with it?

Or how do you?

I try and just forget about it, i put everything to the back of my head... I guess thats probably a bad thing but i do it with everything that annoys or upsets me too, The dark skin patches drive me mad though! i can't wear any tops that don't have sleeves without being self conscious!

Caitriona's right--half the time, you'll try to just forget about it. But it's ALWAYS there, you know? Not just your physical appearance, but in your diet if you need to loose weight, and always taking medicine.....I read about this study once that showed girls in high school are MUCH more concerned about thier future fertility (duh!) but it also said that these girls/young women need much more counseling than their peers. It was intersting. Maybe that's a more appropriate way to deal. :/
