I started m/cing on Monday and am still bleeding pretty heavy. My problem is I have cramps that hurt so bad I throw up. The pain radiates across my hips and down my legs and nothing seems to help. I was wondering if anyone had advice? How long can I expect to feel this crappy? I cant sit, stand, lie down....I feel like Im going a little crazy.
I'm assuming you've been to the doctor and they haven't recommended some other kind of treatment. If you're bleeding through more than a pad an hour, call the doctor or go to the ER. If the pain is really bad, the doctor should be able to give you something extra. I'd call your doctor anyway, but in the short term I'd pop some Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin). Those are muscle relaxants, so they should help relieve the cramping. The hips and legs thing is new to me -- you really should speak to the doctor.
I agree, call your doc and maybe they can get you something for the pain. I had so much emotional pain, I didn't want to endure any physical pain after my D and C. They gave me pain pills though. good luck through this hard time.
