The other day I went to read a post and was greeted with an error message saying I didn't have enough points to perform the action. Then I figured I would sign out and back in and try it again. I was greeted with the same error message. Over and over I tried different things and discovered under my vb main menu that I was at minus -$700 points. I had many points saved in my bank account but could not access them because everytime I tried, I was told that once again I didn't have enough points to perform the action. At this point I figured I would just keep checking in with hopes that I would earn money, but I didn't. I still remained at my minus $700 points. Finally I broke down and stole my husband's points from his account and unfortunately I still didn't have enough to be in the clear. This evening an awesome friend of mine, donated some points so I could once again annoy my fellow cysters with my trivial posts. But this leaves me wondering...
How did I end up in the negative in the first place??? Why was I not earning points when I would visit the site??? And finally why was I not able to access my account to withdrawal the proper funds to break even(when I could clearly see they were inmy account earning interest)??? When I check the transaction history, I can not find any clue to why I ended up in debt. I am just curious, so I can try to avoid getting myself into debt again or even possibly help others around here from suffering from this pita problem.
i had that happen to me.. i was negative like 200 points.. the only thing i could think of was when i put points into my account the page wouldn't load so i clicked deposit again and it took it as though i was depositing it 2 different times which left me in the hole.. but a fellow cyster was gracious enough to help me out..

Nobody can steal from you and put you in the negative. They can only steal what you don't have in the bank.
Anyhow, the same thing happened to me once. I went to make a deposit and it was lagging and I clicked it again and it put me in the negative. Luckily I was able to ask for some points so I was able to log back in.
If you look at your bank history, you will see that is what happened.

Looking at my history, there seems to be only one single transaction on January 25 which coincides with the time I started to experience issues but it doesn't explain my negative balance.
I am sorry to hear that there are others out there that have had this issue but at the same time, I am really happy to know I am not alone in having to ask friends for money to get out of debt.
It happens lol! I was in a frenzy last year when it happened to me, it happened during the holiday season and I think you were busy with a new board design. I could not get on for the life of me and was irritated. I ended up having to join again with a different user name and then beg for points! That looked weird because I was a newbie begging for points. Finally a cyster came to the rescue and I was able to get my SC fix
