Default How do I fight inflammation?

Inflammation - How to deflate, uh defeat it?

My knee has been hurting me terribly for a while. I thought it was because I need to lose weight, but then I went to the doctor for bronchitis. He gave me a shot to help with the inflammation of my lungs and wouldn't ya know it, my knee stopped hurting!!! Now a couple of weeks later my knee is back to it's old sore self again.

Is there any way to take care of this, any foods to avoid or to add to my diet? Or do I just need to go to the doctor about this?

Thanks in advance!

bluebug,

I would recommend an arnica cream - something like Traumeel. Traumeel gave me my life back and helped me walk again pain-free (I had heel spurs in both feet)!! It is a homeopathic cream (so no Corticosteroids side-effects), it's a natural product from Germany. It is used for injuries of all kinds (sports, accidents) such as sprains, dislocations, contusions, effusions of blood and effusions into a joint, fractures, etc; inflammatory processes and degenerative processes associated with inflammation on the various organs and tissues (e.g. periodontitis, suppuration of the gingival pockets, periodontosis), including, in particular, on the support and mobility apparatus (tendovaginitis, bursitis, scapulohumeral periarthritis); arthrosis of the hip, knee and small joints.

Here is a link for the company's Mexican affiliates:

Hope you find relief.

You should also add healthy fats to your diet, like hemp or flax seed. They are anti-inflamitory. And I agree about the diet. There are many foods that cause inflamation, and others that relieve it.
